Tracktion Software

Hi!

I'm looking for a Midi-Gater or simple triggerable VCA/VCF-Bank that works within Tracktion (v. 1.6.0.1).
Any ideas?

you may find a plugin i'm developing useful for this purpose. it works great in Tracktion (mostly due to the super-nice MIDI routing).
i posted a request for beta testers over here:

the current version works great for me, and i will do whatever i can to fix any problems you have with it

Hmmm... very strange...
Unfortunately I don't get any of these devices to work with tracktion.

Here's what I'm trying to do:
I have a midiclip playing a string sequence via VSTi. The output of that instrument is routed (using senderella) to a seperate track which contains a clip with a few midinotes to trigger a gate. That's all...
But none of the gates seem to react on those trigger notes.

In Oli Larkins Advanced Midi Gate you need to turn-on the button in the bottom right corner to make it gate in case you didn't notice, it is working wery well with tracktion 1.6.

Scamme, could you please give me a very short example for a setup to make AMG work. I just don't get it... starting to feel like an idiot..

Here you go! just one thing, as you open the file in T - the output of the first channel seems to not be connected as it should be (bug or something similar). "Remind" him that it have to output to midi gate.

Everything works just great now!
After solving those few little "newbie-problems" I had with all your help here in this forum, Tracktion does a great job now.

Hope you won't mind when I might come up with other issues in the future... But right now I'm really glad that I've chosen Tracktion to be the basic platform. It's concept of dealing with music data in any form just rocks!!
