Sounds like a good name for a band.

if yes then that would be down to windows or the user renaming the file (or its directory) or deleating it?

One of those pixel550 folders showed up on my desktop one day, not in place of anything, but just appeared. I don't know what it is related to so I just leave it there. It seems to be keyboard characters.

This isn't pixel.550, or pixelself.550.
It is a folder on the desktop that is named pixel550. No dot after the word "pixel".
Inside the folder is a notepad named MIDIControllers.dat.
The notepad contains a few black squares and the characters from a computer keyboard.

That would be pretty odd for a virus, I guess that could be the infected file?PT wrote: Inside the folder is a notepad named MIDIControllers.dat.
