I was under the impression that there would be a Group Buy for the verb. Am I wrong, or is there going to be a GB this summer?

Inquiring minds want to know. :hihi:

I agree with Ttoz, I think many people would be interested as well, I have only read very positive comments as well. And I've been waiting for a GB my self. :)

I think it might take more than 3 of us but what the hell ... count me in

I've tried it.. didn't like it at first, but after playing with it, my mind was changed. It's a very good plugin, but I still think it's overpriced. Consider all the plugins that are equally as good as this one (not just reverbs, but synths and other effects) and then look at their prices.

Unfortunately, I think a group buy would be the only way I would fork out money for it.

The current pricing is probably a bargain for professional studio, but out of reach for most "bedroom musicians"; with one GB you could round them all up in one go without hurting your sales to professionals methink.

ok, I admit, I'm preaching to my own congregation but it's worth a try, no?

Would buy in a sec for $100.

The current $189 price makes me pause and think about why I need a bigger monitor, better speakers, oh, and there's the upcoming update to Sonar, and the list goes on...

So, yeah, a group buy would certainly reel me in!

Or the potential customer :) .

I've been holding out on this one because of price too. Though I'm also highly interested in checking out a soon to be released competing reverb which would be even more pricy than this one. If there's been no group buy for the AAS and it still comes out on top quality wise over this other verb, I guess I'll just give in and pick it up at the current price, but it'd be a no brainer at $99 and I'd pick it up this week at that.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

Sorry for the OT,

which competing rev are you talking about?

I'll give you a hint, the main company behind it has teamed up with a smaller company that made some soundware for the larger company's flagship line. The man's name is fishy. Ikkk...

Sorry I'm not being more specific but this is another company's forum, and I wouldn't want to talk about a competing product here.

However, I can'[t deny i think a group buy for this one is a great idea. This a plugin that everyone seems to want, i.e. no one has turned around and said it's crap..the only limiting factor always seems the price.

I think if you had a group buy that will 200 signups could take the price down to $100, you'd make it, and um, 20 grand in the process. Think about it.
ttoz, I couldn't have said it better. I would be in also. Heck, I'ld be in if it was $139 or $149. At least that would save me enough to get another HG Fortune synth.
