i went to the waves website, downloaded the waveshell 4.0.1 again (same one i have been using all along). i then installed T2 again. installed waveshell 4.0.1 into the T2 plugins folder, started T2 and whalla!!
so this problem is solved.
im not changing my config as long as it's working.

yeah no doubt!
there must have been a corruption of somekind in my waveshell. weirdness. i decided to try just the newest downloaded waveshell.dll and replace the old one with the new one, just on a whim. and ill be damned if it didn't work.
this was the simplest fix to a problem that i thought was much deeper. i guess im a total douchebag for not trying that first. thanks for looking into it fellas. i really appreciate it.

as for everyone else out there that were dilligently testing away or working on a solution for the greater good of T2, thank you!
the problem, on my end at least, has been solved. i owe it to everybody and noone all at once. but through it all i struggled and raved, and played the dice. but most of all, i did it myyyyyyyyy wayyyyyyyyy!!!!!
