"Edit using wavelab" stopped working in T22005-08-18T17:16:24+00:00I had T2 setup to use Wavelab for edits but it has stopped working - Now nothing happens.
Can anyone suggest a way to get it back.

I'm really not being cheeky here.........sell Wavelab. I had so many problems with it (including 5 fatal crashes and reformats) that I sold it (unregistered) on ebay. Their tech support was non-existant. They flatly denied it was causing my problems. A week later, I got an email from someone at St******g, somewhat discretely, directing me to a page in their archives. It was all about how I was going to have to completely rewrite the file registry in W2k. Screw that. I bought Acoustica 3.2 for $29. Works like a charm, supports all my plugs and 24 bit files. May not be as flashy as Wavelab, but does what I need it to. I'll probably look into Sound Forge 8 soon.

I have several friends who use it & love it, I guess I had a special set of circumstances, but the attitude I got from St******g was inexcuseable. That's really what rubbed my fur the wrong way. Hope you get it sorted out.

You tried pointing Tracktion at the Wavelab exe again? I use Tracktion linked with Acoustica with no probs (I've tried it with Soundforge7 too, but I prefer Acoustica for quick destructive edits: it opens quicker and hogs fewer resources than SF!)
