Yet another Rewire bug Question

Alright, so I know you have to add a bar at the beginning to compensate for the rewire bug. That's fine, I can deal with that. But as I mentioned in another thread, the delay now seems to be sliding around, i.e. sometimes it'll be like 3 beats and then it starts, sometimes 5 beats, etc.
Is there anyway to not have this happen? Is there a trick I am missing? I am using an Echo Mia.
I can deal with something thats a measurable constant, but the variable delay is throwing me off!

What are you rewiring? If you have the midi existing in Tracktion driving another app as a sound module, you can bypass the bug. I know this doesn't help if that's not what you're doing. I don't recall seeing the timing moving about myself when rewiring Live though.

Does the midi reside inside Reason or Tracktion? Try triggering the midi from Tracktion if possible, I don't believe you'll see the bug then.polaris20 wrote:Reason 2.5. I hadn't seen it until this past Sunday.

How the heck do you do that? I thought you couldn't do that with rewire.braj wrote:Does the midi reside inside Reason or Tracktion? Try triggering the midi from Tracktion if possible, I don't believe you'll see the bug then.polaris20 wrote:Reason 2.5. I hadn't seen it until this past Sunday.
I'm guessing you put the rewire filter at the end, and then the midi keyboard at the input, as you would with a VSTi? And then press record in Tracktion?

Of course you can. Just set your Rewire filter up on a track, create a new midi clip, and create a synth in Reason. Then your midi will play the synth in Reason with the audio coming out through the Tracktion track. Really simple.
