Hi,

You might want to check out CamelPhat 3 and/or CamelSpace. A number of people have described CamelPhat as being the closest thing they could get to their Sherman Filterbank in software. Links to more info are in my sig.

I just noticed 'nonono' is implying I'm a liar a little further down this thread:

I have been lurking this forum for a few months and I find developers shameless plug so annoying. For Gods sake... this is not about DEVELOPERS promoting their stuff because thats the MOST BIASED opinion in this world but USERS instead (even thought most are sold by NFR and will promote them anyways even if they are shite).

Now on topic, best filters I have heard came from a real Minimoog. No software can even come close to that because we are talking about analog domain, kids.

well the only filters i've bothered to buy are those in the filterscape bundle. they may not initially sound remarkably exciting by themselves, but the sheer power you have with them is brilliant, and you really can bust up your sounds or turn them into elegantly evolving shapes. the filterscape bundle is bar none the most incredible deal you'll ever buy... the synth, the eQ and the modulatied filter combine to make a monster must-have/must-use set.

I found a really good filter which I like to use on Viola players. It's a no-pass filter combined with a soundproof tank and large ear defenders.
Haven't yet found a filter I really like, must actually try the D-Pole I got from Krim one of these days...

Ben plugs his stuff _a lot_. But to his defence, he's quite modest. It's not like he said "our stuff is the best filters" or anything like that. he was more along the lines "you might want to check out our stuff".

I have a laptop and I am not changing my Rme Multiface for one of those inferior Emu cards so I can use Emulator X. Their drivers are nowhere near as good as Rme's.
