Dash Signature released EVE ONE 1.1
new in this update:
- "mono" select a mode which is now with legato envelope but sample retriggers one every note
- "legato" is an analog style mono mode for looped waveforms
- new global display for all controls
- FXs Wizards, to recall macro presets for effects section only
- default skin updated + new skin by Branis included
- knobs behaviour is now "linear" by default
- Manual updated as well
Note: the free EVE ONE is still at version 1.0,
it will be updated later this Summer

It's really good Liqihpw wrote:thanks for the update! love that new skin.
I have a question though, are there any more plans to release an EVE update before version 2.0?? I would really like to see maybe a 1.9 with the ability to load in WUSIKsnd files. I really like being able to use them in EVE ONE and being able to do this in EVE would be fantastic

I think a unison/detune feature would be a great addition to Eve One.
Also, I am a right in saying the library that comes with it and the Wusikstation stuff are all that can be used for now, what about later ?
thanks

sorry guys, late replies but here we go
>> I would really like to see maybe a 1.9 with the ability to load in WUSIKsnd files
maybe I'll do that before vs 2, no promise though,
>> is the ability to save our own sound wizard presets gonna come?
yes
>> how is eve2 coming along?
we are thinking whether to keep or not the compatibility with 1.8 banks
we rather would like to make a fresh new code and a different architecture
for EVE 2, using the same SoundSets but unable to load EVE 1.8 banks
that's for we think EVE is a complete instrument with it's own sound, it can be improved in few features
and FX but there's not much room for other big stuff
>> I think a unison/detune feature would be a great addition to Eve One.
that's nice suggestion
>> Also, I am a right in saying the library that comes with it and the Wusikstation stuff are all that can be used for now, what about later ?
wrong, you can use any EVE soundSet with EVE ONE, with benefit of quick editing thru Sound Wizard,
http://www.dashsignature.com/products/d ... /index.htm
so EVE collection + Wusikstation collection + Manystation collection
are not enough?, <grin>

Thanks for the reply.
I kind of thought I was wrong but it's seriously confusing for a beginner understanding the Dash -Nusofting - Wusikstation - Manytone - IBM (?) corporate structure.
The synths sound first class so | suppose it's forgiveable.
Glad you liked the unison suggestion, looking forward to hearing a REALLY fat moog sound in EVE ONE soon
all the best

I am sure you guys can make EVE 2 much more interesting by dropping bnk compatibility with EVE 1.8. Users can keep EVE 1.8 in their folders for the large library of presets available there.liqih wrote: we are thinking whether to keep or not the compatibility with 1.8 banks

EVE ONE for great, fast simple sounds, EVE 1.8 for ensemble layering and the library of 1000+ presets, and EVE 2 for..........

EVE ONE will be discontinued with that name since it caused confusion,
maybe Manytone will get it as Many One, with additional content,
please put some pressure on Paul at his froum, he he, <grin>
ciao

I like this little synth. Many One would be cool. Danger One would be cooler, hint hint.liqih wrote:EVE ONE will be discontinued with that name since it caused confusion,

I really liked EVE One when I got it. I tried EVE before I bought EVE One and thought that EVE had too much for me. In the end I loved EVE2 beta which I was testing, unfortunately I've been very short on time as of lately and haven't been able to test the beta more.
I also loved the ManyGuitar when I got it, but I think I was the first one to notice that they shared the ID. I did some testing and found out that the only way to get the host confused about these plugs was to delete one of them and then load a project where the deleted one would've been. Then the host (Cubase) loaded the other one. So the name and the ID didn't really confuse too much in the end.
Anyway, I really love your products (and also songs you've posted) liqih so and most propably will be buying more of your products when I get soem money. Thank you!
...Oh, and why not give EVE One to more specialized use for other sample developers as well, like Bassballjg suggested. ONE is a great and easy to use concept for sample playback. It's also light on CPU, so it would be perfect for sample developers. This would also give some added value to their customers when they could choose maybe a bit more expensive option, but have the sampler with the samples, so they wouldn't have to worry about if they have a sampler to play the samples.

A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...
