I am rendering 24bit/44.1k stereo files down to 16bit/44.1k to burn a final cd. Now the Peak Master plug-in is causing click sounds in the rendered audio only (16bit/44.1).
It worked fine before I installed the update. So I uninstalled the program, reinstalled from the cd (without the update). Problem still there.
Any idea what I should change to try to fix this?
Peak master filter clicks after rendering

are you hitting any red lights in your master out VU meter?
Maybe simply try turning down the master out to a safe level (if you haven't already?)

I think I got it working. All I had to do was lower the master output by .01db
The strange thing is that it used to work leaving all levels at 0db.
I'm trying to peak my levels becuase these are the final masters i'm working on. I want a plug-in that works like the Alesis Masterlinks look ahead peak limiter. You just lower the threshold and it automatically makes up the gain so the output stays at 0db. The peak master is the closest i've found, but now I can only get my level up to -.01db. Close enough for me, but it's another extra step.
