Hi,
I'm thinking about changing to T2 from Sonar, believe it or not, due to complexity.
I have T2 from the first day it was available for download from the T1 upgrade, and I'm wondering something simple...
1) Can it quantize triplets WITHIN a measure or two of a track that is 4/4 16th time? (Can it quantize at the clip level or measure level, I guess I'm asking?)
2) Are the plugs that come with the download the same as the boxed version? I seem to remember months ago a question of the d/l being limited as to the plugs that were included...
Thanks, a lot,
- Paul

1 yes
2 no: you cant buy a download version unless you're upgrading from V1. If you don't already own T1 you will have to buy the boxed version afaik. (Or buy some Mackie hardware that bundles it)

I didn't make clear - I downloaded T2 the day it was available as an upgrade - and apparently bad timing on my part as I had just bought RMiv full a week earlier. Any effect plugs NOT included in the d/l? I seem to be satisfied with the instruments I already have, but I don't want to buy any plugs just to make up a difference.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Amplitube is the only non-freeware extra that I can think of.

sounds like t2 will do what you want, but don't let the plug-in thing bother you. you have to buy the full versions of everything except amplitube anyway. and the plugs in sonar blow.. in my opinion.
if you want to save time and headache, then stay with t2 for this project and go download "voxengo boogex" as a better alternative to "amplitube". i like it better than my full version of amplitube. in fact i like the versions of things i get off of kvr alot better than alot of things that i have.
i use waves plugs, but there are those things that waves doesnt make or that i didn't buy that i need from time to time, and i usually find everything i need on kvr, and most definitely high quality versions of everything i need. for free.
so welcome back..
