? CPU load has no effect on sound quality. The only time CPU load affects sound quality is when your computer has insufficient grunt to play your edit in real-time, then you will hear drop-outs. This is true of all sequencers, not just Tracktion.

and about clipping problems.

There was a bug between Tracktion and FinalMix. If you don't use FM, it wasn't a problem, and it has been fixed now anyway.
