just wondering you know how you can change winxp's interface to take out the shadows etc... wondering if we could get an option to do that in T2... it just makes me wonder about cpu optimizing because say i have a bunch of vst's locked position, you can only imagine the cpu that is being wasted on the shadows

I'd be surprised if it made any discernible difference to be honest.
Tracktion uses alphachanneling all over the place, and the small amount that the drop shadows contribute is most likely the least of your problems.
