at least i think this is a bug. heres how to duplicate it:
load a synth
pop on your midi keys
map a knob to a property in the synth
play around with it, and play
replace synth with another synth
move knob
keyboard is defunct

Which keyboard? The pop-up one by clips, or external MIDI? I can't replicate..
