Laptop version of a Receptor?

Why not build a laptop version of Receptor? I know that you can control the hardware better but it sure would be nice if I could buy a laptop with Receptor software on it. Like a dual boot thing or something.

Just an idea.

I'm talking about running the Receptor software (OS, etc.) on a store bought laptop. I know it wouldn't have the same I/O. My laptop has SPDIF output, though. So, instead of buying a 2U PC chassis with the extra I/O, etc. No Receptor box to lug around, just a laptop. A Receptor is a PC in a 2U chassis running a version of Linux, right? With a host for the plug-ins? It does one thing really good. Or am I nuts?

BRAINSPAWN is great... you might also check V-Stack by STEINBERG (but not that "amusing" and comfortable..)
