A bug, I think?

When copying an edit with frozen tracks, the copied edit does not have any frozen tracks.

frozen tracks only stay frozen intill you close that edit!

if you want a more permernent freeze then render the track into the project & mute the orignal

I don't think you're correct about that. I have plenty of edits where I've frozen tracks, closed the edit, returned, and the frozen tracks are still frozen. I've only had bizarre behavior when copying edits.
