Hi everyone,

Finally the Marching Band Horn for EVE soundset is ready. The set is 178 MB. There are 36 different waveforms and 19 of them also have an extra looped version for a total of 55 waveforms. The waveforms are taken from the 3 volumes for the Wusikstation but the extra looped ones are not included in the Wusikstation volumes and are exclusive to the EVE version.

A bank of 90 presets is included. Well-known sound designer Tim Conrardy made 40 and I made the other 50 presets.

I need some help with the demo. I now have a dial-up internet connection and I spent the best part of the day uploading it. I would greatly appreciate if someone with hi-speed internet could download it and tell me if everything is fine. Links are below.

I'm sorry to report when I use a command line unrar (version 3.40), there is an error:

Code: Select all

zvon_horn_EVE_demo/pad_horn.DASHsnd - CRC failed
Unexpected end of archive

But this may be because the command line unrar doesn't understand multi-part RAR archives or I'm doing something wrong? I don't have access to a Windows machine to test this right now, and am posting just in case you wanted an early reply.

Part 1 seems to be corrupt. Says unexpected end of archive using WinRAR. Downloaded size 14 449 472 bytes.

Thank you both for your help. Yep, from your reports, it seems part 1 is corrupted. I will upload it again and let you know when it is done. Of course what I mean is that it got corrupted during the upload, the original file works fine.

Ok, I have updated the part 1 and the upload seems to have gone correctly. Hopefully it is now fine. It's getting late here so I will verify it tomorrow but again if someone (with hi-speed internet) would be kind enough to test it and post the result here.

OK, it extracts fine now. Still not at a machine where I can test though, so I'll let someone else do that perhaps...
