Here again the Response demo link:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemus ... dID=201397
and again the text from before:
After all that rave about the Waves GTR amp's
response to the playing and the volume knob,
I thought they might have a valid point.
So I decided, to add this to the amp too.
But I took it much further !
Highly optimised, mathematical tube response,
has now been incorperated and simulated.
This gives you a never before reached, detail, feel and interaction with the amp.
Never achieved by any other Virtual Amp !
(soft or hardware)
All is played with ONE amp setting, one LONG take,
only the guitar volume knob and the playing was used to drive the amp !
The amp remained untouched !
No FX, and no compressor was used.
Setup:
The guitar went into the red 39 Euro Behringer DI box,
then straight into the PC sound card.
(the hiss is comming from the red DI box,
the silver one, also 39 Euro Behringer DI, should be cleaner.)
As you can see, I am really exited,
I think you will be too after listening to this, Amp response demo.

Enjoy and thanks for your support !

Never heard such a realistic behavior from a plugin. Impressive.
nevertheless, it sounds somewhat dull and kinda boxy. If you can improve this, it will be the best amp sim ever by far imo.

I updated the files at:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemus ... dID=201397
Amp Response Demo B (more low end for Sascha)
Same cab and take as before but with a low end cut at 180hz. (before 350hz)
and with a different cab version.(same speaker)
Amp Response demo3
New cab + EQ, low cut at 150hz
and a simulation of a tube mic at the end.
The final version of the amp will include quite a few
of the worlds finest speaker and microphone models.
I must admid, that I also started to model after existing
amps now too, at this late stage of the development.
Stay tuned and thanks !

so you're adding names like "Sheriff" or "Fire&Ice" or "2120"? Cool!
Demo 3 is cool. Come on, man. It's nearly fall.
All the best, FRitz

OK this is the first demo (demo3) that really impressed me.
I will buy this plug unless we will have some supprises like a really high CPU usage or if the product will never come out.

CPU usage of the "pure" amp, is really quite low.
Ca. 6% of my P4 2ghz.
Then you need to add CPU usage for all the other things you want to use, like:
Cab sim ca. 1.7% - 2%
Mic sim ca. 1.8%
Chorus/Modulation ca.2-3%
Harmonizer ca.3.7%
WahWah ca.1%
Delays ca.1.5%
Compressor + gate ca.1.5%
ect.
Average CPU usage is around 12-15% here.
(Who turns on all at the same time anyway...)
Demo3 usage was around (make the count) 11.5%
(Amp, speaker sim, mic sim, EQ)
So I can also proudly say,
the amp not only beats the rest in realism and sound
but also in CPU usage !
Release is still planed for the last quater this year.
(before Christmas)

is this directed at 80s metal players?
If not is there any chance that you could post some clips of non-80s metal sounds?
