Sorry to sound like such a newbie. I have read the manual and still don't get it.
Import a Midi file, No Problem then try and add an Audio track, there is no apparent way to Add and audio track to do the vocals as far as I can see. I cant see where the Input icons are to drag it onto the input (left) side. Please someone put me out of my misery so I properly evaluate this software
Thanks

How to add Audio Track

You already have 8 tracks when you create a new edit. In tracktion, all tracks are the same, audio, midi, bussing, whatever. If you can't see the input icons, you have either hidden the input section (top right there are two square icons to hide the input and/or filter sections - make sure neither is lit), you don't have any inputs enabled (switch to the settings tab and make sure at least one of the inputs listed says enabled next to it-if its says disabled, click disabled to enable it), or you have per track input mode enabled in which case you will see slightly greyed arrows next to each track which can also be used to assign inputs by clicking and dragging (or disable per track input mode via the optiosn menu).
One of those should solve it.

I Am so embarrassed I was going to delete my Original Message. I found it what a Dumbass! I am.
Thanks anyway. Great software, different, but interesting and pretty stable for me so far. PLaying around with all the Steinberg VSTI's to see how they behave. UAD's seem pretty happy so far.
Keep up the good work
