I have an issue with the latest ASIO.dll and rme hammerfall. Sometimes when adding a VSTi or doing other edits, XT almost freezes my system. Looking at the taskmanager it say 99% for XT, and the only way is to restart XP.
Using the 12 aug beta works perfect.

I've noticed that modulating the LFO rate or amount with CC's in the sampler doesn't work. Also, setting the sampler's envelope loop points to anything longer than what fits in the window is screwy.

-solo&mutes in sequencers audiopart dont work after cutting a wav in it. you'll have to reopen the audiopart.
-pushing the mousebutton down or drawing the selectionrectangle in the the sequencer nearly freezes it (the higher the screenresolution, the worst it gets (? is this english ?))

I cannot replace an insert that is added to a main window component. If I do a "replace" the original effect remains.

I can confirm this .aldi wrote: -pushing the mousebutton down or drawing the selectionrectangle in the the sequencer nearly freezes it (the higher the screenresolution, the worst it gets (? is this english ?))
I first thought that it had exclusively to do with multicore features , but it happens everytime .
Just fire up task manager , leave eXT running for a while to have a nice horizontal line in the cpu useage graph and then left-click on the seq background and it instantly adds 30-40% to the graph (with multicore features in use it even bursts out a loud noise everytime) .

The map CC to volume does not seem to be working on sequencer audio tracks for me.
The midi learn on that function isn't even working (I'm feeding the midi into midi in 1).
It works fine for VST components in the main window, and on sequencer audio outs, and on sequencer VSTs.
[edit] hmm it will take midi from an internal track...
Oh I get it. Audio track isn't naturally receiving any midi. I got rout a mid track receiving from midi 1 to audio track 1!
[edit 2] no I still can't control an audio track volume with a live controller. Above didn't work.
[edit 3] hmm I recorded the midi controller to midi track 1 and routed to audio 1 and midi learnt the vol on audio 1. That works. Then I erased the mid track and the controller was mapped. I think it has to do with the midi track doesn't receive midi while the audio track is highlighted. I did try it with the midi track manual record enables though
The midi track has to be highlighted in order for the audio track to receive the signal. Bummer. I wanted to control the levels of several audio tracks from my fader box while flipping around and also controlling effects.
Final EDIT I promise:
A midi track armed w/ manual record is only receiving midi in when either highlighted or in record mode. This make it impossible to permanently map midi in to an audio track.

a direct solution would be better though

AUDITION! of course That's what I was forgetting. Good enough for me! Thanks. Brain was a bit fried (obviously).
And you can use one midi track for all audio tracks.

perhaps we should just collect Links here, and post the BR's in a seperate thread, so that this one would not be unneccessarily enlarged by discussions...

It doesn't always seem to happen even, with high CPU. I have two eXT projects saved which I can no longer see any additional inserts on when added yet I have other projects in which this has never happened.soma wrote:I can't reproduce this bugCaco wrote:

Even if I delete inserts from these two projects I still can't add new ones in. I will try copying all the audio and midi from these into a new project tonight and adding identical VSTs to it to see how reproducable the problem is.
