Basic LMIV questions - sorry for being a lazy swine

Hey guys, sorry for asking what may be stupid or basic questions about LMIV. I have no probs using it, and some of the free kits are cool (the only one i use a lot is the TEG stairwell kit, great for a Dave Fridman/mercury Rev type sound) but I really wanna add my own samples from recordings and maybe some of my favourite albums to make my own kits(the intro to Bone MAchine from the Pixies' Surfer Rosa springs to mind). Is there an online tutorial on how to do this? Also, is there a web resource anywhere i can get samples and whatnot? (i searched the forum and looked at the linplug boards, but couldn't find anything, although right now I'm at work, and as you may have guessed, im pretty lazy).

Sooooooo, apologies if this has already been asked 1000 times and I'mjust been a goober. Any help with this is as always most appreciated.
