Just doesn't make sense, does it?
So does Sonar, Cubase & Logic.
Seems pretty weird since Mackie handles Tracktion.

How come Live 5 supports MCU XT and Tracktion doesn't

Is this different from the original Universal? Cause Tracktion supports that one, and also anything that can emulate(which is most good boards) one of the two surfaces it supports.
External support is still being perfected. There has already been alot of talk about the future, and more support for more products is in the plans. But they were working out the what and how for right now.
It's all about priorities, and until recently, Tracktion didn't have the priority. Also, Sonar, Cubase, Logic, and even Live have much larger development teams. Live would have to be closest to Tracktion, but they usually are killer at development from what I've heard.
I do hope more are added soon, and I'm sure they will. It's just a matter of when.

Hello,
I was talking about the Mackie Control Extender.
Tracktion does not support this, but the aformentioned apps do, which seems weird.
Just curious.

Rich

I figure Mackie simpky didn't want to devote too much development time to something that would be of use to only a small amount of users.
I'd be surprised if it doesn't get added eventually, along with support for other surfaces by different manufacturers.
