Heh, me too - must be some kind of time zone incompatibility or something.
And on topic for a change, I just thought that the stuttering effect can also be achieved using SupaTrigga, which I can recommend as a nice tool for facking up sounds in a random as well as intentional manner. Supports only regular note lengths (4ths, 8ths, etc.), no triplets or dots unfortunately.

i do this all the time. it's a vice. i should probably stop doing it. i've been using dfx's buffer over ride for it. also, dfx has scrubby, which can yield slightly similar results. suppatrigga and mdsp's livecut beta do it, as others have mentioned, but they have a more random approach, while buffer over ride is more controlable. all 3 have their benefits in different situations.
