I'm sure the redback spiders got all the exterminators! Or the funnel-web spiders.james0tucson wrote:No exterminators in your neighborhood?BONES wrote:These days if I see a drawer open a few inches I know that there will almost certainly be ferrets in the drawer beneath it. Weird, huh?

i love ferrets A LOT but will never own one do to their smell and shitting all over the place (both problems can be remedied but takes too much time and work for me).
IMO coolest personality in a small mammal EVER, though.

But the trick with ferret-legging is that they don't try to get out. They love warm, dark spaces. You only have to weather the storm of their curiosity over their current residence and wait for them to go to sleep. Whenever I sit down to have a krap it takes them all of 60 seconds to crawl into my daks and fall asleep.
Chase, litter training is actually very easy because they habitually go in the same places and once they have been desexed [not de-scented] they are easy to keep smelling fresh - you just need to wash their bedding regularly.
