Racks?

Hi,
I want to add Final Mix to all the instrumental tracks excluding the drums. I set up a rack and put Final Mix in the rack then dragged the rack to each track that i want final mix on except the drums track. The only problem is the song gets louder and distorted. I know I have to be doing it wrong?

youve got it backwards ... whats happening in your described setup is that each instance of the rack is also outputting to the master ... so the more instances of the rack you add the more distortion youll get ...

... you dont need to use a rack to achieve what you want ...

if you want it on everything you could just put it on the master... drag the plug onto the area right above the master volume. good luck
