Hi Bram. Are you still going to put variators on all the channels?
I remember seeing this feature in a screenshot at the Tu2 forums.
I've been watching this project for a while now,and like the simple yet effective interface.
Tunafish has lots of potential.
Also when midi is completed will there be an option to turn off quantizing?
Thanks.

It's already in there, based on a list of
preset variations: click on a drumnote (note
properties pop up), select "stretch" and then
choose the variation. That's it: instant variator!

Cheers,

Bram

Yes, it's on the list of future features. Can't
tell when it's going to be implemented since it
means a complete overhaul of lots of internal
code and graphics functions, but I see the use
of it!

cheers,

Bram

Happy to talk with you. I've been a Tuareg user since several years now with my pupils (10/11 years old). I think they'll like Tunafish too !

Drawing is not yet implemented. Currently it's just
recording mouse-movements. Release 1.2 will have
midi recording. I might implement controller-drawing
in a later stage.

Cool news :) I downloaded the demo and installed it. It was amazing, I got the hang of Tunafish within a few minutes ! It's a real well-thought product  I must go for a license ...

If i have a drum groove going and i realize, say, the hats need to be turned down, is there a way to turn the volume down for all the notes as opposed to clicking on each one and adjusting the velocity?
Give me freedom or give me television

Put the hats on their own channel and use the fader?

I don't want to do that since i am limited to 10 tracks.
Give me freedom or give me television
