I wondered when you'd turn up Paul!

As to whether I'll code it? blimey I dunno. I've got a plate full of VST to get through first. Was the fiz PauliePhonic (), or mono? Any routing available?

I would only use delphi, which would mean that the mac port would be alot more work. However, I would be very willing to get involved on the filter side, and maybe some other fx.

I have a very nice Gain control...

I use Amateur Tools FD.

Adrian at plugshwbevci does good ports from delphi, so all is not lost: but it would be a lot of work.

If I just help out with smaller elements, then it's less of a problem.

Hey we dont use synth edit, its all custom C++ / delphi code...

Paul
I know of course but Ugo uses synth-edit and he would be the perfect choice for patching up that damned thing!

;-) :-D

but making custom synthedit blocks takes C++ right ??? well we already have one coder who wants to help out.... him combined with all the BBA devs should make a kick ass schizmofizmogizmo

well SE is good in that it would establish a worthy signal path that could then easily be modelled in native code.

Often getting a clear structure is half the battle, and SE allows to more freely experiment; then the blueprint is set.

is that the effect only version?

if we call it schizmofizmoogizmo then we have license to use some very appealing filters out there :)

yup and Ugo said he knows the Fizmo really well and he is a master at patching complex synthedit-synths - he just doesn't code so... ;-) :-D

my work seems to be done (for) now
I hate to be a pest... But consider extending the shadow area behind the dials, to include the whole logo. Very Nice, though!

SE would make a Mac port even more difficult than a Delphi instrument.

Luckily I use PC, so I don't mind either way. <grin>

Well, I love SE, but it's a tough slog for things as complex as this. Steam, which is meant to be Fizmo-like, is great, but deadly on the resources. I think well-optimised, low level code with a proper filter model would be loveliest of all.

I'm so excited... and I just can't hide it.....
