Nothing touches a good analog deck/desk for capturing a live classical performance. What you use seems to make a lot of sense to me. Esp. for sequencing as FLStudio is simple as ***k to use.
You never told me what you detest about ProTools. I'm not trying to bait you, if there are better options out there, I just want to try them.

Actually, I think I would probably like it, in the sense that I don't care what brand of saw I'm using to cut wood, as long as it works.
What I don't like is the impression that people have, that PT is the *only* solution for digital recording. That notion is out there in full force, fully, and it's counterproductive to the production of independent music.
