OK. That was NOT easy. There is NOTHING between the lines - and whatever is supposed to be there I CANNOT possibly read when watching the sky (which is clouded and dark and not much fun). So the base line is: There where some wankers and some other wankers and they're gonna cool of this month so that we can all be wankers again next month - right?pHz wrote: WATCH THE SKIES !!!

Thanks, mate!Caco wrote:Hovmod - In A Blue Moog
Awesome! This song is totally lacking in any obvious structure yet still sounds like a cohesive unit rather than random sections glued together which is very difficult to acheive. Really well done.
Thanks Caco!Bearded One - Mood For Bob Moog
Love the laid back relaxed ambient feel to this and the theremin lead
Much appreciated. I do not think you were negative, and I really do not mind about constructive criticism. I know about the timing on the acoustic guitar being out and the electric a bit out of tune. The dip I had in my original post was a bit of a tongue in cheek dip at the predictability of some of the reviews last month when the first one said I did not follow the theme and then everybody else just copy and paste that review. All that while I still believe that I was the only one actually following the instructions from the moderatorCaco wrote:

Sepheritoe - Shadows in Our Minds
I really didn't want to be negative about this song as i do really like it and think it is really powerful and would make a fantastic film score but to me the change at 1.17 just doesn't sound right and the electric guitar at the two minute mark really doesn't fit the track. Apart from that though I am a fan of this track so if I am being critical I apologise but its because I can hear how good it could potentially be with a few tweaks.

I don't mean anything, I was just quoting the interview I linked to . . . not my fault!pHz wrote:of course though ... by cat gut you mean sheep intestine ???emdot_ambient wrote:(Cat-gut of course is what violin strings are made out of.)
He he he! Did anyone see the interview with Klaus Schulze in . . . I think it was in September's Future Music. He said something like (not his real words here, I'm pulling this out of me faulty memory): "...in the 1970's you had a lot of musicians who were using synthesizers wrong by trying to make them sound like other instruments. Like Keith Emerson."AndreasE wrote:I don´t want to make many words. This track is a tribute to one of the most important pioneers of electronic instruments in the last century and one of the first musicians who played and mastered the Moog synthesizer like a normal instrument...
Thx oddbots!! Laughed about your review.. I didn't want to be disrespectful, in some cultures it's habit to do something happy when someone's gone (though not in germanyoddbods finger wrote: Thomekk – this is so cheery it’s bloody disrespectfulNice vocal harmonies….BTW, what does inowative mean?
