A bit confused. :?
You do know that Sytrus can import DX7 presets?

However, Im a fucktard and didnt by the free updates for an extra $20 when I bought it, so im stuck with 4.5.1 anyway, so it would take a good penny to get to xxl.
You can still get the lifetime free updates for your version (for example, producer edition) by paying $29.

Right. I think you're misreading me. :)

I do know that. Let me elaborate briefly:

When I was first looking at FLStudio, I had no softsynths, no drum synths, nothing. So Sytrus looked to be an absolutely wonderful piece of software.

I own many high-quality softsynths now, and plan to buy FMHeaven in the future. So Sytrus doesn't seem as essential. In fact, it doesn't seem essential, period.

One of the neatest things to me was that Sytrus could import DX7 presets. But so can FMHeaven, so when I buy it in week or two I'll already have that capability covered.

Make sense? :)

One thought: I read somewhere that on occasion Image Line offers upgrades to different versions of the software for a discounted price. Any valdity to that?

The time stretching is FAR SUPERIOR to tracktion and ext doesn't have it.......

BUT, for 100 bones you can get zerox beatcreator and that is just off the hook for slicing and streatching.......

So, I'd keep what you have and look into the beatcreator.

Yeah, they do offer discounts on certain items. For the one's with asterisks they don't.

Here's what it looks like if you visit their online order form:

To order please follow these simple steps:

1. Switch on the checkbox of each product you want to purchase from the list on left (if you already own a product the checkbox will be disabled)

2. You can see the total costs in the panel above.

3. Use the NEXT / PREVIOUS buttons to fill all needed information in this wizard.

4. On the last page of the wizard, click ORDER (see below) to be transferred to our secure SSL section where you can fill the rest of the details.

5. Ordering all products that don't have an '*' (asterix) will give you a 50% reduction.

Here's the site I went to:
http://takeway.e-officedirect.com/takew ... tomerType=

I gotta say, I like the fact that they offer so many different types of payment on their site. It makes things a lot easier for me when I order from their site.
