Is that all you can? Intentionally misinterprete me?
Understanding my jokes wrong and skipping in in those cases?

I never did see something really releated to a topic from you. Maybe it is because you simply don't understnd the most of all that.

Instead you are always bussy with hunting (and commenting) "The Evel".

:nutter:

slainte (whatever stoopid nonsense that is). But you may find that enormous creative to post that with a smilie inside instead of any substance or informative message ...

I guess, that is then also your entire predestination to be a moderator here.

f**k off! And don't forget to read all my posts. there are surely some more indicators for the Evel inside.

EDIT: I'm not gonna feed the trolls

Most digital synths use slow control rates for their filters, oscilator pitches and what not. It's a common practice. However, many find that that sounds "steppy", and that virtual synths sound much more analogue-like if parameters are updated per sample, i.e. control rate = sample rate. To connect it with a familiar term from synthesis that's been in use for years, and avoid confusion by using samplerate in a seemingly inapropriate place, they use a perfectly sensible term -- audiorate.

This practice uses more cpu, but arguably sounds better, so it IS an advertising point.

Well, it's not like it's very common amongst VSTi's to have audio rate modulations, so the answer might be yes.

Yes,

e.g. just listen to z3ta+. But wait, the filters are weak and it doesn't sound like Virus! :hihi: 8)

Mm-mmm... audio rate modulation with some faked unison, coupled with some analog warmth and saturation. Throw in some 22 microsecond attacks from 0 to full amplitude and perhaps throw in some hyper- versions of familiar oscillators...

Hype words do sell things.

Btw, in case you missed it, this track uses the new filter.

Along with a in-house version of ADL, with some la2a inspired aspects..

bManic :D I tried my best, but apparently those few drinks I had with Kingston and a couple of friends blocked me ;)

Got some more though... vintage, linear phase, phat, squelchy, smooth, "with 30 years of experience", ______ modeling, "through serious analysis"...

We're onto a winner product with these, now we have to make one :D

Yes,

but does it sound like a Virus? Sounds like a ... 303. Moog.
Best ever. This is a next generation VA.
HESS (Hyper extended stereotypical synthesis).

Have fun, FRitz

P.S. Does anyone here know the Jeff Beck album "guitar shop"? There is a song where a sales guy babbles all the guitar buzz words in funny sentences and in extreme speed. Besides of that Jeff is a very good guitarist. Ah, here we go: Stratocaster, Les Paul, Marshall, Boogie, creamy, silky, ...
