metal musicians with such a passion for filters is rare..

BTW, updated link ->

Afrodite - Sometimes : Blue Days Softcore Remix

Softcore because it is made only with software, from the shredding 303 style rez, to the la2a inspired limiter. All algorithms, and done by myself.

nice sweeps...me likes :hihi:
what exactly did you use on those...is it a synth that you created or just the filter ?

vstDOG.

I created the filter, and most of the synth. + eq and dynamics processing.

I am working on a synth, but it's too soon to say when it will be ready.

And ofcourse, ADL is already available to the public, and probably will be updated in the not-too-distant future..

ADL? hm, the one with the psychofasomically optimised envelopes and internal 64bit bitcrusher??

Whatever your ears tell you, snooky.

Errrm...
That is without any doubt the worst MIX I heared recently.

I pumps badly like crazy.
It sounds like passed thru a 8 bit soundcard.

That filter is actually merely squeezed thru a hard clipper, the most primitive digital distortion ever.

The used effects sound cheap like hell and are "overdriven" (too much wet all).

Mix lacks (despite the "wanted to be loud" syndrome) totally pressure and presence, by the way. But it is not any "loud" (in a good sense) for some reasons.
Entire impression is what I call extreme digital coldness and worst possible (cheep) lofy impression ...

Total crap (in view of any "production technique"). :? Work of a 8 year old child, made with Magix Music Maker and accidently recorded with a wrong samplerate ?

I think Mozart was four when he learnt to play the piano and wrote his first pieces not long afterwards...

Yes, and he did it very well. In contradiction. :hihi:

Hi Ove,

how many "metal" musicians do you REALLY know? That sounds like some prejudices here.
And I say it again: I don't know if you can grasp the fact that one person can be able to like and even make more that one style of music. Ever heard of top fourty players? Studio musicians? Come on ... :hihi:
The other CD I made before this one in my signature is mainstream pop. :hihi: Really, no joke.

Best wishes, FRitz

I'm afraid I have to agree.
Proving any sort of sound "quality" with such a mix is just utterly pointless. It does nothing but hurt my ears.
But then, Silent Minds mixes allways seem to sound like that and he seems to like it like that.
Well, some people just seem to like their mixes to sound bad.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

:-o the three of us agree on something!

I honestly think I never heard a worse mix in my whole life. It adds a whole new dimension to the word terrible ! :?

Hi Rob,

but what's doodad? I mean if it's 64bit it's cool but what is it?

Best wishes, FRitz

P.S. Now that the 64bit age is truely here, when will people come up with super128bit floats? Must be sounding much more bestest.
