In the end your plugin is a chorus with a random LFO plus a short delay with a feedback knob which you call Vocal timbre.
Sorry Fritz, not at all...
Some hear a Vocoder, you a Chorus...
Delay sure was right.

How can anyone compare my already 1 year in development amp VST,
with a fun-plug I did in maybe 2 - 2.5 hours ?
This completly escapes me...

Only Lunch Money and Alouf seam to get my point.

@Jaeson Merrill
Well spoted with the vibrato. ;)
Ok, I will add a input controled vibrato speed.

Pitch and timing ARE random, but sure I can make them
act more randomly. :)

My first question is why is that your business Hink?! It is his project and his time, he can do whatever he wants! It seems to me that your only pissed because you actually paid 699$ for a useless suite that someone duplicated one of it's main components in under a day.
that is all absurd...first I'm not rich...but I did have a stroke of luck last week that landed a lot of money in my lap...so why would I be angry about the price? If you knew what you were talking about you might understand, that is not a main feature of the suite and I guess you have no clue to the quality of Antares Auto-tune 4. (Cakewalk and Roland sure do though) He cloned one small part of a bundle, a bundle which consists of many other things I will use. So I'll get his cheapy one instead of all the others? ...

why is it my business? You didn't really ask that did you? If I am considering a purchase from a developer his attitude about things isn't my business? God I'm glad you don't shop in the music stores I have worked in. I was always was honest but many salesmen will sell you hype...I don't buy into hype.

BTW so you know in the 34 years I have been playing guitar I have never paid more then 500 bux for a guitar, in fact the most expesive was a used Kramer for 400 bux..money isn't an issue no matter which side of the coin I'm on...the quality of the company and how it treats it's customers and future customers is important...I trust Antares, I don't know midiworks...

OMG you're kidding right? You compared your fun plug in with one that was in development for a long time, but if someone does the same to you it's wrong?...again thank you for this thread, it shows your hypocrisy very clear.

BTW I wouldn't have responded if you didn't add the :x ...that's the part that lost me, that was quite unprofessional.

What attitude are you talking about?! The only attitude and bad vibes I am getting from this thread is yours. The way I see it is that MidiWorks is proud of his work, and there is no shame in it. After I demoed the aVox suite and especially the doubler plugin, I find the DuosX much better price/quality wise. Why is that so hard for you to accept?

OK, the chorus bit was not precise. What I meant is that I hear a modulated delay. That's it what is normally called a chorus FX. I meant that I heard a randomly modulated delay.

No, I didn't know that and I don't care. I tested your plugin, it's very buggy, the "voice timbre" doesn't even sound remotely like the one in the Antares plugin while you wrote in the above meantioned thread:
Midiworks wrote:Right, but so similar, that you can not say what is what anymore...
This is simply rediculous. Everybody who tells me that it sounds similar please turn the voice timbre fader on the Antares plugin either full up or full down and then say again that it sounds the same. If someone did this and still says that both do sound indistinguishable I won't take this person serious anymore according to anything concerned sound and sound processing. I then recommend a serious ear check from the doctor.

I didn't do that and I don't care who does so. What I do on the other hand is to check what you say and see if all your full mouthed claims are real. This is normal. You make people expect something and people check out if it's true what you're saying. In this case you miserably failed, sorry.

Hi dekky,

Sense of humor? Do you mean this was all a joke? Then it's a poor one. If it would be a freeware plugin I would laugh now but he wants a donation of at least 10 somethings for this buggy plugin. That's not appropriate for such a joke me thinks.

Vocal Timbre, does not have the "Typ selector",
I would prefer a knob instead of fixed values.
What do you think ?
Did nobody read this ?

It seams not... :? :(
Nobody said anything...

So turn that fader down for the moment. ;)

And please stop shouting now ok !? :help:

Hi Midiworks,

on the Antares plugin there is a "voice timbre" fader and a "Type selector". As you wrote, you don't have a type selector switch, yet. Why should I think then that your poor voice timbre fader implementantion is not intended to sound that poor? Your plugin was told to be a clone. So I expected YOUR "voice timbre" fader to work correctly. Now you say that your plugin is not ready yet? But you're already selling it, right? And you're already claiming that it is as good or better then the "original", right? Indistinguishable? Man, get real ...
