Hi everybody, I've been a long time happy user and this is my first post. After uninstalling T1 and update to T2, my Tracktion settings and registration information seems does not save properly. I frequenly have to drag the tracktion2key file to unlock T2, and next time I open T2, it tells me that this is an unregistered version. Does anyone have this same issue? I'm on WinXP SP2, any help will be much appreciated, thanks!

I reinstall T2 again.. same problem.
when I first time unlock T2, it said the key file is wrong, ask me to check the machine ID (something like that..), then I click OK, and they use the SAME key file it said it unlock OK! But again it can't save the registeration information after I restart T2.
Pls help!!

Well, first off, I would just get a new key anyhow, regardless if you can make it work sometimes or not. Last time I checked, you need a new key for:
1. re-installs, because Machine ID changes
2. upgrading to T2, because the old key doesn't work
It's only a few seconds to download a new key, so just go for it.
Next, I would unlock it from the "about" page instead of dragging and dropping. Don't ask why-- there's no known bug or anything that I'm responding to, but I DO remember at one point in time switching to the "unlock this version" button instead of the drag'n'drop for some reason or another.

Thanks for your suggestion. But I already did the same yesterday... After I reinstall it, the Machine ID didn't change... any way I still retype my Machine ID in mackie website and re-download another key file. Also I always unlokc it from the 'about' page.. Actually I don't know how to drag'n'drop to unlock it!
I already email techsupport of mackie.. hope they will get back to me soon..
Thanks

Hi Laiben,
I *think* Lunch Money might have meant a complete computer (Windows, or whatever) reinstall - the Machine ID doesn't change unless you do that, as far as I know.
