thanks for the great suggestions. i think Lightscribe would be really cool for demos, no doubt. there's no risk of peelage and they probably look 100 times better than Sharpee!

Forget all those paper labels.....Why you guys don't buy a cd/dvd toaster with Lightscribe technique?

It's a nice solution as well, but the original poster wants to make releases as well. If colour is needed than Lightscribe is not good as it's monochrome( or has this technology progressed ?)

However, any release above 50 CDs warrants a proffesional duplication, really, as it can become very time consuming and tedious having to do so many copies. Doing it the printer-route, won't be as cost effective either ( think those overpriced ink cartriges...)

yeah i kind of through out the "released" in there because i know a lot folks here like to sell cds so i thought this was another place they'd experienced Ms. Wrinkly Skin.

if i personally made a release i'd totally look into getting them pressed nicely so then you can charge a fair price and not get boo'd.

ok so i'm back at it again.
i'm wondering if anyone has used a service like Kodak or shudderbug that specializes in photo imaging to print cd disc art for you?
any canadians out there i have found http://www.tph.ca which looks good but it appears that CDs are quite expensive to make short runs
