just wondering how i could route separate mixdowns per headphone on t2?
or somehow just routing out a nice little headphone output and keep my regular mix (workaround because we dont have a/b filters)

Aux sends are the traditional method, but remember to keep them pre-fader not post-fader so you can change the main balance without affecting the monitor mix.

so i should patch my presonus right over to my headphone amp?
then i could aux send to a separate bunch of stuff then route them to a main fader which exports out to it?

Not sure if I understand your question Ron, but what I sometimes do is route all my tracks to another "Buss" track. On the buss track I toggle the output between a secondary output on my audio card (I have 10 outputs), and the main out (or a different track that contains additional processing that is routed to the main out).
That "Buss track" output I take into a stereo channel on my mixing board and via the mixing board route it to my control room or headphone out.
Hope this helps.

right but this is within t2. i dont want a mixer. ever.
so aux send plug in front of say drums, vox, etc... and im hoping my headphone amp can handle patching in...
and thats not to mention, what if i wanted to just simply play and not have to route anything, if i can patch the cords properly?

i would make a bus called "headphones" & drop a aux send at the end of every track (thats going to a output) & put the return on the "headphones" bus
& send the headphone bus to its own output

Yup. Of course, if you want a simpler setup you could subgroup everything down to stems (drums, guitars, vox etc) and then just add aux sends to the groups. That way you could quickly re-balance the guitars against the drums, for example.

Yeah I get it now. I thought you were using an Onyx to drive your headphones.
Anyway, Subs' idea is better than what I've been doing. Thanks Subs...and thanks Ron for bringing it up.
