Ron makes t2 full circle

I could easily be wrong, but I think RonC is making a reference to this post in the other thread:

quote ttoz:
Tracktion 2 is the most bug ridden and unreliable daw i have EVER used, even worse than Ntrack, and that's saying ALOT.

quote Mr.Tingle:
I think that brings this whole project full circle?

[Jules's motive for making Tracktion in the first place was that he found n-track too buggy and that he could do better (for those that don't know)]

I thought it ironic at least

(how buggy is n-track anyway?)

Still, not much of an explanation

Does RonC remind anyone of Baldrick from Blackadder? (UK tv)

This connects you to Ron in a way unrelated to this thread... it's his refrain when referring to One Ping Only jokes. :D

Point in case! :D

I think Tracktion would be due for an update if they made OnePingOnly a native Tracktion filter.

The question isn't if you DO get it - it's if you WANT to get it.

Here's what I don't get...why all the fuss/neg about Tracktion now? It was the proverbial "sliced bread" for quite a long time - nothing's changed that I can tell that would have caused this but...oh, wait - I get it. The thought "You (Mr. Company Person) need to make everything I want and tell you and a penny is too much and you still suck because it won't make be a better musician or write better songs or make me the hit gold record that I deserve."

Sheesh. Forgot about that one.

Same thing's goin' on in the Sonar forums now.

These are just TOOLS folks. THEY don't make the music..YOU do.

You SHOULD be "able" to make music with 2 rocks.

So far, in the last 10 posts I've read here, Lunch has been the only one that's really not WANTED to complain about something and instead has been trying to "argue" people out of their "arguments" - and quite amicably, too.

That's kind of like a Miami Dolphins fan blaming Dan Marino for their own athletic inabilty - BECAUSE HE NEVER WON A SUPER BOWL.

Damn that Dan!!

(I wonder how HE feels as wealthy and successful as he is.)

I'm pretty amicable and all, but I have to admit:

I'm pissed as all hell at that Dan Marino. Damn than Dan!!

Hey, don't just dine on the whiners. I love and use T1.6 and would love to love T2, but the current and previous T2 releases have issues that make it, not unusable, but merely unpredictable for me. And sometimes that leads to unstable. And that leads to making no music at all. :(

Usually I make music just fine, stopped blaming my tools years ago. You can make music with two rocks. Have yet to discover a way to make a CD quality recording using just two rocks, however!

Even T loyalist, Greg, wrote here a few weeks back that he felt more 'confident' in T1, but wouldn't go back because of the looped recording function which saves him from having to 'nail it' on the first take.

I would happily settle with a 'frozen' T2 feature with the stability of T1. However, if folder tracks and more controller options slipped in there, I wouldn't mind.
perception: the stuff reality is made of.

It's true. Luckily, my GUI issues have cleared up since then. :D

Still, I'll take stability over features any day (well, looped recording's pretty important), and having the entire user base with that same level of confidence in T's stability would be awesome.
