C'mon Vurt, that drawing was almost certainly done by her grand-daughter! :P
Grand-daughter???

:-o 'Moments Of Pleasure' and 'Lily' are without doubt amongst her finest pieces. You need to listen again

"The Ninth wave" was awesome, so was "The Dreaming"

Yes The Dreaming is my personal favourite.

Hope Aerial isn't going to disappoint as much.

I'll agree with that. Those two songs are great. I think the problem with Red Shoes was that the rest of the material on the album was not as consistently strong as on her other albums.

There are also some really good ones on "Sensual World." "Never be Mine" and "The Fog" are just wonderful.

Think about it: There are clear and seemingly personal references to a small child on Hounds of Love, which was released in 1985, making the kid at least 20 years old now, a little old for doing kiddie drawings, but old enough to be a parent!

Frightening, isn't it?

Does anyone know if there's any truth to the rumor that Kate Bush is doing an album with Brian Transeau?

I suppose I should qualify that statement. 'If' King Of The Mountain was the first thing I'd heard from Kate, I'd probably like it a lot more. Her voice is as good as ever, but overall the song is lacking somehow, at least compared to some earlier tracks. It just doesn't sound like she's been away for 12 years.

The one thing I'm looking forward to, is finding out exactly which guest singers/musicians she's worked with on Aerial. While H.O.L is my fav album, the combination of Kate&The Trio Bulgarka on The Sensual World was jaw droppingly good :D This combination is/will be, very hard to beat.
RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

Oh no, BT is appearing all over KvR at the moment!

BT has been citing Ms Bush as a major influence recently, and possibly therein lies the rumour.

Not heard of any substance to that rumour though, and it would be a surprise to me if it was true:- Sure, on paper it sounds a potentially interesting creative coupling, BUT, Kate is fundamentally a folk musician, who has used electronica purely to embelish her music.

Kate is notoriously organic in her muse, and I would imagine that just using the word 'Quantise' in front of her would result in a serious slap around the chops

Put it this way, I would be surprised to hear of ANY vsti being used on Aerial. (But no doubt someone will come up with something  )

Well, yes. Because, let's face it, they are one and the same aren't they really. Female. Piano. Hair. I see what you mean

Admit it??? I was being ironic.

Please refer me to a Tori Album that sounds like HOL, or the Dreaming?

I can accept a kinship betweeen The Kick Inside and Little Earthquakes. Anything later, nah.

**Should mention that I am also a big fan of Tori btw **
