Hello. Does anyone know if there is a possibility o control audio volume with "hand drawn" volume envelopes in T2? I kinda miss that option in Tracktion 1.6.

I don't know exactly what you mean by "hand drawn" envelopes.
Did you discover Controller Automation already? It's not exactly hand-drawn, but you can set as many points as you need. Just drag the small "A" at the right side of the track onto the vol/pan filter - the rest should be quite self-explaining.
Works in T1 as well as in T2.

Works, but it is a bit more work than I'd like to raise or lower a segment of the curve. You have to set two points at each side and then alter the inner points individually by click and drag the point. I know. That too is quite unintuitive. Scaling is not how I think of changing the level and the units of measurement is completely wrong.Hovmod wrote:You can set the in and out markers and use the scale tool to drag up and down the marked area only.
I'd prefer to grab the line and pull it (with the two surrounding points) up/down. Simple and straight forward (and those prefering the current method could continue doing that undisturbed). It would be a nice addition if the level in dB was displayed as it changed during dragging, but that is secondary. Another and even less important addition could be to select the line and enter a new value in dB for the selected line segment.

Yeah, well - I agree. Really. But some times it's better to use one of many useable workarounds than to lament the lack your pet feature. Once you begin, your intuition will expand to include the methods that actually work...

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound condescending or anything. I agree with you and would like to see some improvements on automation and drawing as well.
