OK I'm having problem with this plugin. Stereopack V1.6 Pseudostereo runs fine until you start to render.

Renders take around 50 times longer to do than real time, and once finished the Tracktion UI closes. However, Tracktion.exe is still found in Task Manager and cannot be started again.

If you stop the render manually by pressing cancel in the render box, then you get a warning box:

Internal error has occurred due to Pseudostereo plug-in, context dispatch 12, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0.000 000. Clicking cancel brings up a new error box relating to rewire, although I have no rewire apps running at the time.

The plugin works OK in Wavelab Lite and I'm pretty sure I didn't have this problem in T1.6.

System:

P4 3.0GHz, P865PERL mobo, 1GB Ram, Win XP SP2

Tracktion V2.0.1.13

Anyone else with this problem or should I look nearer home?

And the prize for moron of the day goes to... Synthbuilder.

Come on down and tell us how you didn't know that PSP Stereopack doesn't work at sample rates exceeding 48kHz and hence will crash any host.

Ah...

Fortunately, the nice chaps at PSP have updated the package to include the higher sample rates only last week.

And I can confirm that the new packs do work with Tracktion rendering at 88.2kHz without crashing.
