is cpu meter exponential or linear?

not a complaint, just something i've noticed...

i have no trouble getting the cpu meter up to about 50%, but once it's there, it seems like adding more stuff doesn't increase it as fast. maybe i'm just putting in the more complex vsts first or something. anyone else notice this?

I don't know, but what I DO know is that it is an approximation, which is not to be taken as gospel.

Perhaps a lighter load still makes the CPU spike at 50% enough to trigger that reading -- while adding some more stuff is more likely to even the load out, so that it's still usually not over 50%, only more commonly up there?

Do you have a dual or Hyperthreading processor? Maybe Traction dosnt show the use for both CPUs? In which case use windows CPU usage indicator.
