Anyone using both the BCF2000 and BCR2000 in T2 at the same time? The BCF works fine in Mackie-mode (Sonar-mapping), but the BCR acts as if it was dead (even though its midi input and output are activated in T2. Anyone?????

Hi !

Maybe, I did not understand, but does the motorized faders work with T2, meaning: does the motofader of the BCF move, when I adjust the volume of a track in T2 and can I switch the faderbanks on the BCF to have access to all tracks, without using the mouse? If so, I would buy a BCF2000 :-)

Hi Willi,

Yes. The motorized faders do work with T2. I use my BCF mostly with Reason, but it's cool with T2 also. Buy it and you won't regret it.
cheers

I have the same problem... Think I will sell it to get another BCF2000 to get control over 16 tracks at a time... it is possible ?

Thanks

I have also found alternate functions for the row of knobs such as aux send level and plugin parameters. I don't have it in front of me now but I think you could toggle into those modes with the buttons in area 6. You have to have BCFview running though or you will be lost. All the automatible parameters and values for the currently selected plugin will be listed across BCFview. You can page forward and back when there is more than 8 parameters available.
The function I would like to find, if it is there, is how to select a plugin other than the first without going to the mouse.

Ok, I'm thoroughly frustrated now. I got the BCF 2000, updated the firmware to 1.10 and I can select the BCF for the midi in/out under the Mackie Control Universal (Tracktion 2). That's it. Nothing happens and I can't get any response from my controller. Would someone mind putting the steps (intro through completion) on how to setup this piece to use Tracktion? You'll save my sanity. Thanks!

i dont have the BCF2000 but i know you have to boot it in to MCU mode

it should say in the manual, i know you hold down some buttons when you power up & depending on what buttons you hold depends on whitch emulation it uses,

there is all so a free display app (bcfvue) on there site

Do any of the BCF presets have an option for controlling the master volume fader in T2? I didn't see it referenced in the guide someone very kindly posted earlier. I'm thinking maybe a sort of SHIFT/fader8 combination or something. Would that be hard to configure?

Thanks,

The BCF works great for me in Tracktion, although, my favorite program that I use it with is Reason. I love that you can switch to where the lights on the encoders act as peak meaters. Very handy! If only other programs did that.
