I've got T2 ReWired with Reason and as I'm playing along with or recording a ReWire plug-in (NNXT/Malstrom) every once in a while the MIDI message will quite. i.e. a guitar sustained note cuts out. Now this doesn't happen when Tracktion is not Playing or Recording.
I had some issues with my soundcard earlier but was able to sort them out. Anyone have any ideas???

Athlon64 4400+ Dual Core
ASUS A8E
1GB Ram
Audiophile 192
ReWire MIDI messages cutting out when in play/record mode...

Is this the tracktion demo or the bought product? Because the demo sends a midi all notes off message every so often as one of the demo restrictions. T tells you this in a pop up every time you start the program up, if you're running the demo.
Otherwise i don't really undertand what you mean by this doesn't happen if tracktion isn't playing or recording. If It's not playing or recording you get no sound at all ...

This is the full version, bought and paid for. It's very strange. I never had this problem with T1.
Trying to clarify what's happening; I've got drums, other rhythmic elements, pads, bass, and now I want a lead. So I load up some NNXT patches of "Analogue Monsters". I now want to develop some ideas so I'm just messing around with potential lead ideas while the rest of the song is playing through. Every once in a while a held note from the NNXT will cut off mid-way. Now the really strange thing is that if I render this file up it does so perfectly, but by playing just the MIDI file back the exact same cut-off notes are replayed.
This is only happening with ReWire and specifically Reason.
