T2 -> Virus OS update, no possible?

Hello fellas, long time since ive been around here!

Im trying to update my Access Virus KC with T2. As usual with hardware synths you play a midi file os update from a sequencer, while the synth is conected with midi.

An access suport dude is guiding me through it, and im doing exactly what he says. Its simple realy, play the midi file while the synth is conected. Though keep it at 80 bpm, and make shure the midi file is at ch1/midi 1 and outputs to the midi interface.

Q: is there some issue with T2 sending midi that I dont know of?

Do it on an individual track, if you're not already. Select that track, and in the properties panel you'll see your list of devices. Choose the appropriate MIDI device. Double-check that your clip is on channel 1.

In the settings page, you have options to send MIDI timecode and also MIDI clock. They're disabled by default, but you might need to enable them so that Tracktion can tell the Virus, "Here we go!" Not sure what the predelay slider is for, but I imagine that SOME sort of delay before the MIDI information is actually sent would be useful.

Er... what else...

Some people have made the mistake of going to the "external controllers" page and selecting their MIDI devices. The two devices (Mackie Universal and C4) should have both drop-down menus set to < no device selected >.

The dropped-note issue... I wonder if it applies to other MIDI information!

Tracktion doesn't like playing back the very first information from a clip if it's the very first thing in an edit. Give yourself a bit of space and press 'play' before the clip itself rather than right at the beginning of the clip.

I rememer that trick, and tried it. Didnt help. The synth is shoving it gets midi signal, but it does not read the file proparly. It should start instaling the software! (it shows on the synth screen with a counting number)

Strangely I cant find those options in the settings window..? (T2)
