I don't own Wusik yet so I have to ask this.
Since Wusik has its waves emmbedded in the preset files I'm wondering how tracktion handles this in it's edit files.
If I have a 10mb sample set loaded in Wusik and save the edit will the edit be 10mb (plus whatever else is in the edit)? Or will Tracktion just point to the sample file?
I can't afford all of the disk space. Specially when you consider that I always wind up with multiple versions (many multiples as I copy a new version just about any time I make any changes in the tune) of each tune.
I stopped using DS404 largely because it was loading up all of my edits with tons of sample ram.
Wusikstation and Tracktion edit files.

I have a very limited experience with Wusik since I bought it a few days ago, but I am almost sure that you don't have to worry about it. Wusik stores his waveforms in a specific location of your hard disk and doesn't copy them in each project.
If I go insane, please don't put your wires in my brain

no, wusik doesn't do that. I've used well over 500mb of wusik samples in a song and my edits aren't abnormally large.
DS404 is I think maybe the only sampler to do this. But its a freebie after all I guess!
