can't wait till i see the Amplitube 2 vs Guitar Rig threads - i heard a lot of people use amplitube already but i figure, i'm may as well just wait until komplete 3 to get guitar rig. anyways, i bought izotope trash, and though i like it, i don't find as useful as i might amp1/grig because it's sooo extreme. it's more of a signal mangler than a simple distortion pedal

I know, I know- I was thinking 'amp' or 'recording amp' or 'combo' but it came out tube amp-force of habit!Lunch Money wrote:Improv, but you DID say "tube amp" in conjunction with your list posted.

hmmmm, 199.- EUR to upgrade from LE to amplitube full and then you'll get amplitube 2 for free. That's pretty tempting
Two things still holding me back though:
the dongle (I already have one for Samplitude, of course that's a different one...)
IK's insane licence transfer policies (I read about in a thread in the market place where someone said they would charge him 99.-$ for each licence
)

Yep! That's what they do. They told me on the phone when I talked to them about a order that I messed up, then they messed it up, but they were really cool and gave me a great discount for the poor response time._niko_ wrote: IK's insane licence transfer policies (I read about in a thread in the market place where someone said they would charge him 99.-$ for each licence)

It was a joke, a tension breaker, a giggle. How many smilies are needed before you get that?Lunch Money wrote:Waitasec, Improv--
You can't accuse me of being easily confused (which isn't true! I'm only easily confused when other people don't clarify themselves!) and then in your very next post prove my own point for me by agreeing that you wrote the wrong thing.
Greg
And no, you don't need to answer that, although I am sure you will-at great length.
Please note the Razz icon! FYI, this is meant to indicate that your leg is being pulled.
Please feel free to get the last word in and finish this messaging by yourself should you so desire. Goodbye.

I'm with you-tarted up graphics aren't worth the upgrade. And will we need to pay more for the foot pedal board to effectively use A2? I payed the $399USD when A1 came out, I'm sure as hell not going to pay another $200 or more or whatever to upgrade to A2.Beardedone wrote:I'll wait for the demo. I am not convinced it's worth it. AT1 wasn't.
The software demo will tell.

Oy vey, Improv!
You took me the wrong way. I HAVE to get the last word in now just to defend myself...you've left me no option!: I knew you were joking, and I wasn't trying to debate with you. Hence my own smilie. I don't even know you unless you've used a different user name in the past, so I don't know why you're jumping to all these conclusions!
Peace!

Beardedone: Waiting for the demo is the only reasonable thing to do, after AT1's so-so performance.
