What are you trying to automate?

I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent

Have you tried modifing the sample in B2? Is that what you are looking to do?

basically what im tryin to do is say just have a regular drum hit, but then at various breakdowns in the track, have the midi note for that hit held down for 2-3 measures so that it begins looping, then while that happens i wanna be able to adjust the loop length so that a sort of weird drum fill that keeps speeding up happens. does that make any sense?

I believe you can do all of that inside of B2. Take a look at the lower left hand corner of B2. There are a number of tabs along the top. Click on the one that says Loop. Set your loop there. It works pretty kool. Inside the looping section, there is a control called length. This controls the duration between each occurance of the sample. This is where you can make it speed up in the loop, You can also use tune to get it to speed up. I got a feeling you know all this though

Unfortunately, it doesnt look like either of the two are automatable features.

Sorry I cant help more.

yea i did know that, but cheers anyway for taking the time to try and help. i guess ill just do it in battery and then render to disk and then put it in tracktion through the sampler. i reckon that'll do the trick.
