OK thanks for the clarification, Dave. Not that I was going to risk a dongle on my Carillon but I may be getting a development/testing PC that I plan to use to beta test new apps and those that are potentially troublesome and worrisome.

Where can I read about the system requirements and how to use security key used with SampleTank 2.1 sound set? I do not see any mention of it on the IK MM site. Quite c. by it's a. eh Jeeves? Can the same key be used for other IK plugins when they go the way of al things threatened?

It really looks like I wil have to go against my better judgement and test this. The only safe way is by first trying the key-protected apps on a development PC before installing on my main DAW. This means less money for music software and libraries.

If I remember correctly, in a previous thread somewhere in time (short for I don't know where it is at the moment

) you thought that maybe ST2XL owners who were esoundz gold members would also be able to get the sounds update for shipping or some nominal fee. Is this still the plan or have circumstances changed.

As far as I can tell from what Squids has said, the soundset is free for gold and platinum members. (which is great

- I would never have expected that! way above and beyond expectations)

No problem esoundz gold and platinum members. You know, a sign that you have good repeat business is when over half of your members are gold and platinum members. We have thousands of members on esoundz and we're proud that this happens to be the case! So, we like it that way and reward you anyway we can so we can keep you coming back.

I don't know but it isn't even out yet. So, when it is out I am sure they will be made available.

As for esoundz customers, when it is out we will make it clear how you can get them.

I am looking forward to ST2.1 and not looking forward to it. With Kontakt2, ST2, SS2, a couple of expansions/capsules and Sonic Station, plus more, I am fast running out of disk space
