Hi
I have a few projects - standart stuff - 10 tracks of drums, few tracks of guitar, bass, vocals.
Every projects has a diffrent number of tracks _but_ every projects was started in the same template of 10 tracks of drums. Now i was working on the drums with one project and i want to have the drums in other project to sound the same (they were recorded within one recording session).
I want to transfer all the plugins and stuff from all of the drums channels to another project respectively.Now im making presets on every plugin used and remember their position and then i reconstruct the signal flow in another project. But maybe there is some kind of
channel copy
from one project to another?
It would be an improvment in a work flow.

yes you can
open edit with stuff u want to copy in it
click the track or tracks that u want to copy over (left side of screen <tracks should be highlighted if you did this right>)
copy to clipboard (Ctrl+C)
then open new edit you want the stuff you want copyed to
select the track you want it to come in below
paist from clipboard (Ctrl+V)
enjoy

Yup - its an option, but still - i have to delete clips and drag'n'drop clips. If tracktion has groupin clips or glue clips - its not a problem. But when you cut the snare/kick/tom track (manual gate) then its slower way of doing it then making presets and so on ;0)

Select one clip, then <cntrl> + A will select all clips on that track. Now you can press delete, or nudge them all to another track with <cntrl> + arrow keys.hefalump wrote: i have to delete clips and drag'n'drop clips.

You just want the plug-ins, right?
I can't imagine anything quicker than copying an entire track to a new project, selecting all clips in that track, and deleting them.
That'll be way quicker than recreating presets. Otherwise, you might want to consider doing effects in a Rack, and then you can just put the rack into your new project.
