hi everyone
I'm new with Tracktion 2, so I welcome any help. my problem is simple: I can't make my USB keyboard work under T2 :(
my Evolution MK-425C USB keyboard works excellent under Acid Pro, and/or Live 5, but I simply can't make it work under T2
I know how to lunch my favorite VST synht "Blue" (or any other synth) under T2, but synth does not react when I press keyboard. I've tried everything in settings, but without any result
I assume that I'm talking about very simple problem for all of you...

1) go to the settings tab. select the audio device sub-tab. Ensure that your usb midi input is active.
2) switch to the edit tab. On the track that contains your vsti, right click on the arrow to the far left of the track. From the pop-up menu select your USB midi input.
3) enable the end-end button just below the transport controls (lower right of screen)

I did all that already, even before I opened thread here, but after your post I've tried altogether once more... and....
the problem was in that BIG letter R on the arrow!
that "R" must be white in red circle without diagonal line.
thanks ones again, I can hear my Blue now, but I still wonder what the hell that R is for????

FYI, you are running in the "per track" input mode. If you uncheck that alternative under the Options button, your input device beomes a draggable icon instead. Just drag that to the track you want to record on (it shows an arrow pointing to the track when it connects), and you don't have to worry anymore about pesky "R"s, diagonally crossed or otherwise...

Yeah, you need to 'arm' the record inputs otherwise they are effectively muted.
