What video card do you have? For that matter, what video card do you ALL (the guys who are using T2 successfully) have? I've just found the time to reinstall my PC from scratch and I'm still having the usual issue (stuttering). I'm thinking video card would be the cheapest and easiest thing to try replacing first...

jokes aside, I had both an ATI9000 and nvidia 6600GT and had no problems with my T (1.6 though). Didn't notice something peculiar with T2 demos with these cards. However the 6600GT is an overkill for a DAW

I thought it was a 9000, but it's a Radeon 9250.

Make sure your temp folder is set correctly, too. Seems to me that was the other thing I did at around the same time my problems cleared up.

I've never actually said that it was the video card, just that I happened to get a new video card at around the same time my stuttering stopped. So if a new card doesn't clear it up, don't yell at me for the $50 spent.

What's your ASIO latency set at, btw?

I've got an RME HDSP9652, and it's latency is set at 512 at the moment - or do you mean PCI latency? If so, I've tried a few settings, none of which seemed to make much difference...

I'll try the temp folder thing - I just noticed it earlier.

No, I meant ASIO latency. 512 is respectable as long as your system isn't a complete dinosaur, so I doubt it's the ASIO latency. If it was 256, I would have been worried, but 512 shouldn't be a problem.

It's in your settings folder - I'm assuming you'd put your temp folder on your audio drive...?

It shoulda been EASIER!

Yes, just look in your settings page in the Miscellaneous tab. One of the top options is a box for specifying your temp directory. I use the same hard drive and partition, but a different folder. So I have:

E:\Tracktion Projects
E:\Tracktion Temp
